The story of Mixologya Guide, and why it exists.

Our Story

Mixologya Guide was founded by Amelie Diaz, who spent ten years working in the bar industry — pouring drinks, running floors, and talking to guests every night of the week. That decade of direct, face-to-face experience with what people actually want from a night out is where the idea for the app came from.

Amelie noticed something simple but overlooked: there wasn't a tech product genuinely focused on cocktail bars. Generic listings and review apps could tell you where a bar was, but not whether it was the right bar for what you were after that night. Her hands-on industry expertise shaped Mixologya Guide into something different — an app built specifically around cocktail bars, not bolted onto a general restaurant or nightlife directory.

Our Mission

Mixologya Guide exists to help you find only great cocktail bars — the ones where you can expect good service, good vibes, and good drinks, matched to what you're actually looking for on that particular night. Filters let you narrow bars down by the kind of experience you want, so you spend less time guessing and more time enjoying it.

The app also surfaces the bigger picture: the events that bars are hosting, so tastings, launches, and themed nights don't pass you by unnoticed.
